QuizQuizLlama uses a very small number of cookies — no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies of any kind.
Cookies we set
session— a signed, secure cookie that keeps you signed in (if you use Google sign-in) and remembers lightweight session state. Expires after 90 days of inactivity.admin_token— used only by site administrators to access internal moderation/admin pages. Not set for regular visitors.
Both cookies are marked Secure (HTTPS-only) and SameSite-restricted. Neither is used for advertising, and neither is shared with third parties.
Third-party cookies
We don't embed any third-party analytics, advertising, or social-media widgets that would set their own cookies. If you sign in with Google, Google's own sign-in flow may set cookies on accounts.google.com during that process — that's governed by Google's cookie policy, not ours.
Your choices
You can use QuizLlama's core features — hosting, joining, and building quizzes via a secret link — without any cookies being required for sign-in, since Google sign-in is optional. Blocking cookies in your browser may prevent the "stay signed in" feature from working.
